Hi gens ace

my question is:
i have a plane edge 540 wingspan 1.4m with a flying weight around 2,5/2,8Kg.
and i want to power it with the Gens ace Mars-BL3749-770KV & Mars-BL60A
is this a good setup? enough power? i want it a bit overpowered tongue sticking out smiley

Best regards
vincent

Hi Vincent,

on how much cells do you wan´t to run it?

For the named weight in my opinion you should consider the Mars-BL4841-550KV running on 6S.
You need around 950-1200Watts for decent performance.
The BL-4841-550KV offers 1250Watts and has a lower KV which provides the ability to use bigger propellers which is very good when flying 3D.

If you have any more questions don´t hesitate to contact me directly via email (just click on my name).

Hi Vincent,

from Raw calculation i would suggest a 15x7, i would prefer a wooden propeller instead of an apc because of better throttle response and better efficiency.

Amp measuring before flight is, like always recommended.
